We took the girls to Chicago for a few days. We spent some time in Lake Forest visiting friends and attending some of the Lake Forest Days festivities.
We took the kids to the Lake Forest Beach...and it's still as beautiful as ever. The whole community is beautiful. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to live there for 7 years! We drove by our old condo. Lilah doesn't remember living there at all, she was 2 and 1/2 when we moved. Vivianne does remember, she remembers the condo, and the stairs! lol. We stopped by her old preschool and visited with her teacher. We had brunch with friends at Egg Harbor. And also, stopped by our FAVORITE ice cream and candy shop, Sweets.
We stayed in Chicago for a couple nights too. We took the girls to Millennium Park and to Sprinkles...the cutest cupcake store EVER! They have a cupcake ATM. Seriously.
We ate delicious food and went to the Aquarium as well. Chicago is such an awesome city.
We squeezed in just enough time to visit our favorite photography studio, Classic Kids, in Winnetka for some family pictures before we headed home. The trip was fast, but good. We have so many good memories from our time there, which makes visiting so much fun.
