This afternoon Thomas and I went to the 17th Annual Bike Blessing in Kenosha, WI. My boss’ husband, Ray, was one of the founders of this event. Way back when they started with only 56 bikers. Today, I couldn’t tell you how many were there exactly, but they filled the parking lot and overflowed down the street parked side by side. The bikers all gather and start riding together from a certain destination and are escourted by the police until they get to the St. Paul’s Church parking lot. The pastor along with Ray led the the pack on their harleys. It was quite a site. There was some singing followed by a short sermon and then the pastor walked over to every single motorcyle and said a prayer for a safe riding season.
Here are a few pics.
