She wanted a tea party.
Setting the table was an event in and of itself…we saw the yellow buckets in the dollar bins at Target that morning and she says, “Mom, these would be perfect for the decorations!” She picked the flowers and decorated herself, I just helped with the table cloth :-)
Everyone wore their “fancy” dresses.
These will be so fun to look back on…I’m thinking these will be highschool graduation slideshow “musts” ;-)

Jenga for the little ones…I told them the rules of the game—-Let’s just build houses, they said. Ha!
At the park. Cheering on our friends. It’s almost automatic, big girls go one way, little girls the other way…
Swinging as it starts to sprinkle…
“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring…” they sing togehter, as we walk back home.
I picked up a few of these Barbie purses that you can color, it turned out to be a great project for the rainy morning ;-)
Thankfully, the rain subsided and the sun came out. Outside…here we come :-)
No major injuries, no major fights, I’m pretty sure everyone still likes each other…I’d say it was a success :-)
